Theatre Lawrence provides a variety of youth classes designed to take advantage of your children’s time off from school to flex their brain muscles in a different and entertaining way — in the theatre! Through acting exercises, costume creation, and prop-making, endless possibilities await every child that attends.

2023-2024 Schedule

Join Education Director Emily Giles during the 2023-2024 school year for School’s Out, Theatre’s In workshops! The day camps provide a unique opportunity for elementary age kiddos to experience the performing arts and are a lifesaver for parents when the kids are out of school! The week long (and longer) workshops provide more opportunity for kids to get fully immersed in the magic of theatre!

For full day classes bring a sack lunch, a water bottle, and an awesome attitude! No experience necessary!

I’m Gonna Run Away and Join the Circus

Tightrope walkers, clowns, strong men, and elephants? What will our traveling circus consist of? Using the circus as our theme, we will play games and create stories based on the wonderfully unique characters of the circus world.
